I'm Back
Dear Musers Who Matter,
Thank you for all your kind words of comfort and condolence on the death of my precious Mom. By God's grace, I was by her side, holding her hand, when she took her last breath. It was a very special blessing for me, and I'll tell you why.
When my Mom came to America from Italy, she was pregnant with me. World War II was nearing its end, and the first war brides had married American soldiers and were journeying to a foreign land to join their husbands. My mother often reminded me that I made that journey with her and that we shared a special bond because of it.
As my mother's condition deteriorated last week, our Lord spoke to my heart and said, "You began the journey with her, and I want you to be by her side as she ends it."
My Mom died peacefully and without pain. I watched as her spirit left her body and joined itself forever with Jesus. I praise God that she is with Him now, reunited with my Dad.
All of you hold a very special place in my heart. I could feel your prayers giving me strength. How wonderful to be a part of the Body of Christ!
Love and Blessings,
MaryAnn

Dearest MaryAnn:
Tears overwhelm me because you have helped us to recognze God's beautiful face in our lives and others. His Holy Spirit resides within each one of us; how profound our love and respect are for Him when we nurture the seed He has placed in our hearts through prayer, worship, and the His written Word sharing them in our time of need. This is the very tapestry that is weaves us together.
Thank you, MaryAnn, for giving us a glimpse of God's wonderful love and grace in your life and in your mom's. He is the One Who leads us on this journey. He is the One we can completely trust.
Thank you for sharing. I am richly blessed.
MaryAnn, I'm so glad that the peace of our Christ keeps you during this time.
I had the blessing of see the Lord bring my mother out of her coma long enough for me to lead her to the Lord. He IS the great comforter.
Blessings to you and your family.

Hi MaryAnn...
Our God is so great! He truly blessed you by allowing you to be at your mom's side. You must write down your journey from the time your mom was pregnant with you until her death. I know it will touch many. I also thank you for all that you do for us. You are special in God's eyes and all of ours.
Dearest MaryAnn; you know my sentiments; our lives are parallel, and your presence in mine has been a blessing beyond compare. I am also insprired by your courageous spirit and indefatigable faith in our Lord. Thank you for sharing this wonderful and deeply touching moment in your life.
Dearest MaryAnn, thanks for sharing these precious moments with us. I second Fran's idea for you to record your mom's journey. I'm sure she was a special lady to have a daughter like you. love, rose
We are thankful to be a part of your life, and that we are part of yours, too, MaryAnn! You are such a blessing to so many. We know you will continue to let your light shine for Him, and that light will bring others into the Kingdom. God bless you!
