Don't Forget to Vote!

February 04, 2008

Dear Musers Who Matter,

While this blog is not a political forum, I would be remiss in my responsibilities as a writer not to encourage you to vote if your state has a primary tomorrow. For your convenience, I have included a link below to the platforms of our candidates.

I will be voting for Gov. Mike Huckabee, as I believe his political position most closely embodies the principles of God's Word and most closely aligns itself with sound government policy. Gov. Huckabee also has well-thought-out plans for addressing our country's most critical concerns.

Please prayerfully cast your vote on Tuesday. This is a pivotal time in our nation's history. I believe that the spiritual destiny of our country is at stake.

Dear MaryAnn, another reason why we are kindred spirits! Although KY doesn't have our primary until may, I have supported Mike Huckabee for months both financially and encouraging others to vote for him. I watched on Fox News tonight where he said he was looking for a smooth stone to kill the giants with. I hope and pray he can still pull this off. Thanks for your reminder. love, rose

Dear MaryAnn, I am also a supporter of Mike Huckabee. He is the only one who is truly pro-life and would make a great president. I live in Texas so our primary is in March, but tomorrow is a very crucial day for the election. I'm praying for our country and that God will have mercy on nation and give us a godly president - Mike Huckabee. Thank you for sticking your neck out and voicing your position. Blessings to you, Terrie
