Susan Page Davis had something to say . . .

In March I finished my next "big" book, for Harvest House. I am letting it sit now while several people read and critique. I also did a content revision for a shorter book for Love Inspired Suspense.
Plans for April: My daughter Megan and I have started writing our third cozy mystery together for HP Mysteries, and planning her wedding. The book is due the day before her wedding (August 16). So we are plenty busy around here. :)

Vie Herlocker had something to say . . .

I spent most of this month writing marketing materials--including individual press releases for the 21 school support employees that are featured in the book I co-authored with Sam Bartlett. Building Better Schools by Engaging Support Staff was released last month.

I have restarted a project that was put aside and have completed one new chapter.

I did not do well with my own reading in March. My monthly goal is to read 2 writing books and at least one novel.

In April, I want to complete 4 more chapters on the old project. I will also be starting another book project in the Building Better Schools series.

Hi, MaryAnn,
In March, I've reached some goals that have been long in coming. The Connect One Ministry logo has been designed. The PowerLines logo has been designed. The website home-page and design are completed. I've written my testimony, statement of faith, biography and additional webpage content that will be uploaded and launched within the next week. I served as a temp. administrative assistant (4 weeks) for a Women's Conference in Kansas City and was able to meet all my weekly column deadlines while keeping up with leadership and lessons for two Bible study groups.
For April my goals are:
-To contact 3 area newspapers about adding the Simple Connections Column to their weekly paper.
-Complete Connect One Ministries website planning and have it live.
-Finish reading the book I've started and write the review I've promised the author.
-Determine specific plan, purpose and goals for a blog.

-Make contact with a lead for a Women's Minsitry conference.
I'm finally on a roll! :)
Have a great day.
Kim

Hi MaryAnn...

I haven't been writing too much this month, but I just had a devotional piece published in The Lutheran Digest. I am also working on a four-devotion assignment for Pathways to God. Today I received a note from the editor of Evangel. She cannot use the four poems I sent, but she said she enjoyed them. She hadn't responded sooner because she was trying to fit them in. She has already published two of my poems this year.

My goals for April are to finish my assignment for Pathways and submit reprints of some of my devotions and poems to different markets.

I enjoy reading all of your achievements. They inspire me to keep writing.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
Fran

Sherri had something to say . . .

In March I submitted an article to Pray! magazine, submitted a reprint to The Gem, and got an assignment to write an article on depression for Focus on the Family. And I have an almost assignment from the Denver Post to write an article about the Molly Brown Summer House. God is finally opening the doors to the general market!! More important, God is letting me be a light to the lady who owns/operates the summer house.

In April I plan to work on my assignments, plus submit more reprints.

Pam Halter had something to say . . .

I'm just getting home from a family vacation. We left one day after I got home from the Mt. Hermon conference. I'm beat.

But Mt. Hermon was amazing! I had a great meeting with an agent. I'm hoping she is the agent God has for me because I really liked her.

I also got a request for a proposal for the middle grade fantasy I'm working on. I'll be sending that off this week.

Once I get back into normal life, I'll continue to work on writing and follow my goals.

I'm going to bed now.

Hope Chastain had something to say . . .

In March I finished the novel I started in November for NaNoWriMo, wrote the synopsis, and sent the latter to my critique partner, who made some wonderful suggestions. I also did some more recording on songs for my album.

My physical goals for April are:

to finish the novel revisions based on my cp's suggestions and then send that off for her to read.

to finish recording and mixing the album and then send it to CD Baby as well as start selling the individual songs through my websites.

to work with Mom, plotting the mystery novel we started last year.

Thanks for having Accountability Fridays, and room to comment, even if we don't manage to get here until Sunday... :-)
